The Laghu Mridanga+Konnokol Layam
(part 1)
Konnokol is an art of singing the percussion language.Here Suryadev V Kammath is reciting konnokol and then after that it is accompanied by Harisankar S Naik and later it continues to Rohith R Naik. Whenever Rohith finishes the thani,next cycle start with Konnokol.
The first part played is the chathurasra nada in which the thalam is Adithalam(of 8 beats)
Then it is changed to thrisrai nada , which means 3 letters in one beat,then misra and then khanda nada or gathi is followed.
After that chathurasra gathi resumes.
Aavarthana kurappu is the method of playing lessons by decreasing the amount of count in the cycle but must fix in the particular thalam,it may be 1 cycle,1/2 cycle and 1/4 cycle
After this,an Unique play of all the artists begin and ends in a Theermanam(which is a combination of mohrai and korvai)
Especially mohrais are in thalaamthadomthadomthadom pattern and korvai in sama kaalam,means by mukthaying the korvai,each time ,speed of play must be same.Otherwise it is called gathi korvai.
